I started with integrating SiteMinder with an IBM AS\/400. From there, performed installs, configurations and upgrades of SiteMinder and ancillary products such as Netscape Directory (LDAP), which turned into Sun Directory, for various customers. Then transitioned to integration and support of the Siteminder product where most of my time has been to now. Doing this I have utilized web agents, SAML 2.0, ODIC in the Federation and Single Sign-On namespace, with numerous HTTP servers and applications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Professional Experience and Accomplishments<\/strong> Systems Integrator LS3Tech From Sept 2022 \u2013 Present Currently working on an internal project related to Identity and Access Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Systems Integrator LS3Tech From Sept 2020 \u2013 June 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dept of Ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recently on contract with the Dept. of Ed. focusing on integrating applications with Oracle OAM 12c, with the SAML protocol. Working with customers sometimes guiding them through the configuration of their software to complete a successful integration. Additional tasks troubleshooting and resolving access management issues. Established and maintained good working relationships with all IAM customers. Other tasks were creating various documents, questionnaires to gather the information needed for the integrations, tracking, process to perform an integration, topology diagram of the integrations. Some of the applications that were integrated were Connect HR, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Tenable and Splunk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Systems Integration LS3Tech Sept 2016 \u2013 Sept 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n USDA<\/p>\n\n\n\n Contracted to the US. Department of Agriculture providing application integration support. Supported two of the three largest agencies with approx. 300 of 500 total applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Duties included working with business owners, developers and or server administrators with designing and implementing application security for new applications and making changes to existing ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Utilized log files and command-line tools to identify issues and resolve them in a timely fashion. Using various methods for application security, web agents, SAML for Federation or reverse proxy servers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Additional duties are writing documentation for customers and peers to perform various tasks, install guides, configuration, training, reference material or process. Performed some research and development with CA Secure Reverse Proxy Server to validate as a viable option for a service offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some of the SAML integrations include Tableau, MPS (Xerox), JIRA, SalesForce, and Remedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Began getting involved with the OpenID Connect protocol as another method of Identity and Access Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Accomplishment \u2013 Received an Administrator Award (Internal acknowledgment) .<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Systems Integrator Ace Info Aug 2011 \u2013 Aug 2016 USDA<\/p>\n\n\n\n Provided expertise to the US. Department of Agriculture involving application integration support. Currently supporting two of the three largest agencies with approx. 220 of 450 total applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During this time also migrated all of the apps to a new environment while supporting the existing applications. Most environments consist of Windows Server 2008 \u2013 2010 and Red Hat 6.x, utilizing IIS 7 \u2013 8 and Apache 2.2.x. Using SAML 2.0, web agents or proxy servers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Accomplishments \u2013 The migration of 200 apps in 2 weekends with a 99% success rate. Several emails to management about my performance. Year-end award for dedication, above and beyond. Integrated 99 Apps in 5 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Systems Integrator FMI Jul 2006 \u2013 Aug 2011<\/p>\n\n\n\n USDA<\/p>\n\n\n\n Provided expertise to US. Department of Agriculture involving application integration support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Duties include assisting developers with designing and implementing application security. The environments consist of Windows 00-08, Apache 4-6.x, Siteminder 6.x, IdentityMinder 6.0 and Active Directory. Currently planning an upgrade to version 12.x of Siteminder and IdentityMinder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Accomplishment \u2013 Redesigned the security for over 100 apps to accommodate agency changes without impact to application security or outages.
